Green infrastructures are popping out anywhere in the world today to address environmentalist’s call to save the environment. Joining for a competition in Paris, LAN Architects has created the double-skinned residential building. The double skin of the building is designed intended to help insulate the building, and photovoltaic cells are used to let the outer most skin of the building produces energy. However, despite of these unique and amazing features, LAN did not able to make it in the contest. Despite of that, this rendition will surely inspire some others when it comes to building a green, eco-friendly and sustainable buildings.
