University of Santo Tomas in Manila Philippines Industrial design student Clarisse Paula Fernando has designed the Sol-air, a mini windmill that has the ability to power a glow in the dark night light and a digital alarm clock attached to it. However, in case the windmill was not able to collect wind energy, it also has a wind-up key below the power button that can be used to power up the clock and the night light. The Sol-air is definitely an eco-friendly design because aside from the wind energy, the kinetic energy is also in use to power the said product, which is very beneficial to the users and safe to the environment on the other hand.
