Handcrafted in Albany by Sean Desiree, this Reclaimed Wood Coffee Table looks like an art. Desiree says that he researched African American textiles and learned more about women of Gee’s Bend, it is a small Black community in Alabama in the 1920s.
The quilts made in that era by those women were so amazingly beautiful that helped them to get through discrimination they faced. Both financially and spiritually.
