Building our homes is definitely the most exciting thing to do with our lives. However, to people living in places with recurring changes annually that is related to weather changes like those in Lake Huron with water levels vary drastically month to month. Because of these changes, Architects named MOS created the floating house, which will float with steel pontoons structure that allows the house to fluctuate with the lake. The house is prefabricated in a shop to save from the traditional construction cost. The floating house has a natural cedar strips that will filter light entering, reduce wind load and heat gain.
